Heading into the Tetons

Yes, another batch of driving photos! This trip I’ve been practicing my shooting-out-the-window-at-highway-speeds technique.

From Lander, WY, the landscape began to change, shifting from rolling grasslands to sagebrush, mountains rising up in the distance. It really feels like we’re back in the west now, both in the landscape and the dryness in the air.

As we headed into the Tetons we climbed up in altitude, until we reached nearly 10,000 feet at the highest pass and began to descend into the park.

Melissa is the co-pilot, list-maker, and truck-packing-tetris-master of the trip. She hopes to do yoga in the fresh air every morning of the trip, weather permitting. At Apple Canyon Designs, she’s the project manager and copywriter, as well as working with Jim on photography and video.
