Morning in Miami

We got up early to try to stay cool and see a little of Miami before hitting the road to Georgia. We didn’t manage to avoid the sticky heat but we did get to see South Beach while most of Miami seemed to still be asleep; the concessions stands on the beach setting out their rental beach chairs, the cafés full of sleepy coffee drinkers and no sunbathers on the beach—just tanned, sweaty runners out for their morning jog.

Here are some of our photos.

Don't believe the thermometer. It felt much hotter than 75!
