New Orleans In Photos

New Orleans is such a vibrant city it is almost hard to take photos as everything is screaming for attention. Melissa will be posting later today or tomorrow with a few words about our experience in N'awlins, so for now, a few photos of the Big Easy.

Who's that? Why, it's Noel Gallagher of Oasis fame walking through the French Quarter! Was I stalking him? Perhaps. But only for a block.
Nap time in N'awlins
A bar on Frenchmen Street advertising the J-Tree Music Festival. In Austin we saw someone wearing a Pappy and Harriet's shirt (a music club in Pioneertown, just up the road from Joshua Tree.) In Marfa, a band were playing at the campground we stayed at who also played Pappy and Harriet's. It seems the signs are out there, directing us to our new home!

Jim

Jim is the proud owner and driver-in-chief of the small red truck (affectionately named "truck") that will make it all 11,000 - 12,000 miles of the trip around the States with nothing more than a couple of oil changes and tire rotations. When not indulging in delusional thoughts about the abilities of his 21 year old truck with almost 300k miles on it, Jim likes making websites and taking photos and gets paid by people for doing these very things at Apple Canyon Designs.
