Weekend in Palm Harbor, Florida

After Tallahasse we came down the West Coast of Florida to Palm Harbor, where my aunt, uncle, and several cousins live. We spent a few days here relaxing, visiting, and enjoying time with family.

It’s been nice to stay in the same place for three nights—it’s the longest we’ve spent anywhere since we got on the road. We enjoyed hanging out in the water at the local beach as well as going to Weeki Wachee, a water park built around a natural spring.

Our hosts—my cousins Joellen and Ryan and their dogs Leroy and Roscoe.

Best of all was barbecuing with the whole family outside in their backyard, the warm night lit up with tiki torches, laughing, listening to music, catching up with each other and reminiscing.

My Florida Family!
